Tanot Mata Border Track

Because of home Ministry Guideline for defense reason non Indian tourist are not allowed prohibited area.Tanot Mata Temple is close to the Pakistan Border, and is very close to the battle site of Longewala of the Indo–Pak war 1971. Contemporary folklore credits the temple for the outcome of the battle. The road to border is surrounded with miles and miles of sand dunes and sand mountains. Today you start to cycle to biggest part of Thar Desert. This tour requires plenty of Stamina. You are going in big zigzag roads. This road is cycle lover road. We pass through very remote, tribal villages.The route is brimming with the vistas brimming with beautiful landscapes.  Its full day cycling in this Indo Pak border.

There are two different way to go this border road. If you are staying overnight in Sam sand dunes then you may directly connect to Bharatmala road project. On the way you have chance to see sprit of Longewala war Museum explore. Your destination is long way so you need some of stop. We need an extra care because long miles we do not find anyone on the road.Tranquility at its best here. Ramgrah is the village on the way where you will find some Dhabha veg Food.  Tanot Mata temple is earlier capital of King’s of Jaisalmer. Even now is a religious place for Hindu pilgrims. The temple is maintained by Indian Border security force.  You may some sip of Chai here then filling some formalities of identity card and security BSF will issue a pass to reach at retreat ceremony.
